Default Minn. Blocking isp's

Minn. state has ordered 11 isp's to block over 200 online gaming sites to its residents! How can they get away with that?

They said sites that advertise online gaming will not be effected but the actual poker sites, casinos..etc, will be blocked. The isp's have 3 weeks to comply or face the consequences.

Unbelievable!

I think it would be up to each state to block the things they don't want in their state, but that's still over-stepping our American freedom rights.

We, the American people need to take a stand for Our freedom.

Well it looks like a stand is being taken now, they are trying to ban this block of isp's in Minnesota now, which with any luck with get passed and make it harder for any other state thinking about trying this stupid block of online gaming a second thought?

If we all think about this; everything in life is a gamble, so are we suppose to ban the whole internet because some harm could come to a person or person's?

Example; A person uses the internet to buy a car, and two weeks later this person gets into an accident because of faulty brakes on this newly bought car from the internet.

Should this site selling the cars be banned?

I don't think so.

So why ban gambling sites because between 4% to 5% of the gambling people loose money?

It's their money. If they want to use all of their hard earned money on gambling instead of the finer things in life, it's their decision.

I think they should ban mobile home sites.
Why?
Because I was given the shaft from a mobile home outfit that swindled money out of me, by leaving off several of the extras that came with the home and saying they lost the paperwork. I still paid for these extras, but didn't get them.

I've lost more money out of online deals than I have with online gambling.

I think all of the sites where money is involved needs to be blocked because of these losses.

Oh, one point, but not to buck the bank; we loose several dollars a month at our banking firms for fees, shouldn't they be banned from the internet?
