Default Pot Odds

Hi, I'm trying to lend a helping hand to those who don't know what pot odds are and how to effectively use them. A know a number of poker players who I would consider moderate players but don't "really" know what pot odds are. Pot odds are an essential part to any advanced poker player's stradegy. Instead of me trying to explain it myself, I searched google for what I thought was the most simple explanation, but feel free to post here if you still have questions; I will, and I'm sure others will try to help you.

Heres the site with the explanation...

Enjoy!

Another one I think you can throw out the window. How many times have you been beat by 9 6 offsuit play against your big slick.

Plus the odds don't calculate the people who are bluffin.

Don't worry about Pot Odds . Poker is more about beating the odds rather than playing the odds is it not?

i find that poker is more a bout singleing out one hand to another, i think it is easier to beat on hand than it is 5 obvouisly, so i find a good tactic is to just raise on the blind to get ppl to drop there hands.
