They ran this exact promotion on pokershare.

There were people playing 24hours a day at high limits to rake up ultimate points.

When pokershare went tits up the guy at the top of the leaderboard had just over half the points he needed for two months work, which came to nothing when the site went down.

A thread on the pokershare forum at the time was discussing this promotion and it was calculated that to rack up enough points for a WPT place you would need to bet through enough money to buy into the WPT event 18 times over and still have change for chips & curry sauce, a large donor and a nightbus home.
