I limp with 77 in EP, it gets raised, cold called, and then re-raised, so I called 3 bets and so did two others. The flop was all bricks, and it checked around. The turn was a beautiful 7. I tried to bet, but lost the internet signal. I timed out of the hand.
I got the signal back a few minutes later. I am the fifth limper pre-flop with 98s. I flop the nut straight draw and raise the flop for a value and a free card. I turn my straight, and I drop the connection again. I timed out and was folded out of the hand.

While I'm a strong advocate against "disconnect protected" tables, this is a prime example of cases in which they're worthwhile.
If it wasn't for the A$$HOLES that
abuse that system*, more sites would offer these tables.
* I've got a draw on the flop, I'll check and/or call a moderately sized bet if needed. If my card doesn't come on the turn and someone makes a bet, when it's my turn to act I'll disconnect from the Internet and wait a little while before logging back in. If I won the pot, awesome; DP worked for me. If I lost the hand, no biggie. I'm not out any additional money. It's a win-win situation for the abusers.
