I think the key to being successfull at Poker is to take the bad beats and learn from them. Try not to let it burn in your system for too long. Take the mistakes you might of made and improve your play the next time. I know it's hard to avoid bad beats sometimes but learning how to increase your chances of avoiding them is key!! Read books; watch Poker on TV and play live games; do all you can to learn and most of all play lots of hands!!
Good luck at the tables!!!

I agree and ive decided to be a more conservative player than i once was because of bad beats. They have taught me patients and respect for this game of chance.
with experience you see alot of bad beats and they begin to bother you less and less... however its the ones where say you hit trips on the turn, and you bet the pot( or more) and your opponent calls with the gutshot draw and hits.. AND then he thinks that this was a GOOD move....
that bugs me....
the fair game today I was in SnG , this guy goes all in with AA and I had AK , of course I am gonna call. and I did , I hit a K A high flush . now thoughs are usally the kind of beats that get me. But I won the SnG and lost the next one.
THe more conservitve I play the worse the bad beats are lol HIGH CARDS spells
DANGER. But i still do play only the top ten hands etc..... I like to try and work on my short stack if I make a bad beat... try to build up my chips like the challenge
