Been reading everyone's bad beat stories and even a few that lucked out on a bad call. I know I have been in lots of situations playing freerolls where it doesn't seem to matter what the heck I have in my hand, I come out on the losing hand to something that I wouldn't have even stayed in with from jumpstreet.
Anyway, I decided to waste a little bit of my time and make a bunch of people furious to test out a theory I had...I played in a freeroll at AP last night, hold em. I went all in the first 5 hands that were dealt no matter what I had in the hole....and I managed to win 4 of them, and the one I didn't I only lost a few hundred dollars, so that wasn't too bad either. I skipped the all in for 5 more hands and played like I always do, called some, folded some, won some, lost some, then I went back to my all in strategy for 5 more hands. This continued on for a couple of hours til I finally lost out........and came in 28th for God's sake. Of course that is no where near any of their minor winnings, but still, on a game that I really was just bs..ing my way through.......
I won all ins on 2,3 unsuited. That's the kind of thing that usually gets me wiped out of a game with my AK or AA on an all in. Go figure. I just did this as an experiment to see what would happen, and I can't figure out how so much in so many hands could go against the odds like that. I know it sure wouldn't happen at a real table game, that's for sure.
Oh, guess I better apologize to anyone on here that I may have played against in that tourney, just in case.....I don't play that kind of poker, this was just a one time thing to see what would happen.
