Default Trip Kings

I was playing yesterday and here's how the cards came out.

Me: Pocket Kings (I raise 25)

7 others on the table fold and 2 call.

The Flop: 2h, 6d, Kc (I raise 25)

1 guy folds leaving 1 other who calls.

The Turn: Ad (I check, and the remaining player checks too)

The River: 7s (I bet 100 chips and the remaining player goes all in)

I call and the guy has trip aces against my trip kings and I'm out of the tournament. Did I do the right thing in calling? Was this just a luck of the draw that couldn't be avoided? Did I miss a tell or something?

I appreciate you guy's comments.

well, for one thing, this isnt a bad beat so much as a tough hand.

i think you played it well, but what were the blinds? i doubt he would have folded to any bet, but you may have wanted to go higher preflop...still, not much you can do when trips kings loses there! tough luck is all that hand was stacked against you!

Now, he did have a AA in his hand, right? So I guess you would have lost that hand anyway

In my opinion this isnt so much as a Bad Beat. Your opponent had just as much of a chance as you, although with a slight advantage because he had AA. In my opinion, you had a good hand, at a bad time.

The only different thing i would done was as soon as I saw that 3rd K, i would had heavily raised or maybe pushed all in......not sure if this would have thrown him off but thats how i woulda played.
