Yesterday I had AK of spades suited. The flop: JJ4 (J and 4 of spades). I check, one raise I call. The turn was 8 of spades. I raise 20$ (at a 0.25/0.5 table), the other one calls. The river was 4. I check, the other one went all in, I folded... I did good or not?

Easy fold - with the raise on the flop he might of had Jack might just have had 4 - either way he would have made full house. With your big bet on the flush draw not scaring him as well I'd say it was an easy fold when he went all in.

Yea that was the correct play. Although its tough to fold with money in the pot, you were probably beat. Even if he had a four to make the lower full house he has you beat. Just some tough luck.

dunno..its online poker so he prob made it.. i wud have to b in the position to know whether to call or fold :/

I would of raised on the flop to see if he had the jacks or full house.... if he did he would of probably reraised.... and I would of considered folding there... if there was no reraise and he just checked... I would of probably gone all in on the turn

It depends what type of player your where playing and all the jazz that comes with these decisions...

But thats what I would probably of done!!

I think this was a good fold, it's not probable that he'd bet a lower flush so hard with the board the way it was. Flat calling on the turn with a possible flush out there also indicates strength. Either a made boat or more probably quads. It's not inconceivable that he held a pair of Jacks with the way he played the hand, hoping for you to make a flush. If he managed to pull a fast one on you...good for him. You still live to fight again.

You didn't tell the pre flop betting but I think you made a good lay down!!
