My Position: at the button
My Hand: Pocket Hookers (yes i mean the Queens =/ )
The Beat: Jack 5 Offsuit
The play:Â* so here i am a happy camper with the hand i was dealt. the bet comes to me and i triple the blinds. i get 2 other callers, so here we go...
The flop comes 7c, qc, 5s - so here i am, an even happier camper cuz i hit trips at the flop, with the pocket pair, hard hand to see, perfect opportunity to milk some chips right? - WRONG.
so i check.Â* every else checks as well.
The turn comes a 5.Â* this can't get any better can it? i just turned a BOAT. one person raises 360.Â* the other calls.Â* i triple to 1080 - the raiser folds. the other goes all in and naturally so do i.
Guess what the river had in store for lil ol' me? you guessed it... a third 5.
I beat myself up over it by saying i should have milked it before the turn.Â* if there is anything i could have or would have done differently it would have been that.
but lord have mercy, WHAT THE HELL is it that makes people call such high raises on a P.O.S. hand like Jack-5?!?!!! jesus flippin' christ lol can someone teach me how to be a luck reliant *censored*
Yes I'm quite bitter.Â* I still luv ya guys though :P So I hope this story here gives u all a better understanding of my quote over there to your left...
