As well as online I play with a few people round my house - usually £10 in each winner takes all - usually about 10 of us.

Anyway... down to last 2 me and my mate - chips are about 60% to me 40% to him - I got AJ hearts and he raise pre-flop a fairly big amount which is then called. Flop comes out A (spades) 4 (hearts) 10 (hearts). He's first to bet and puts nominal amount of chips in so I think about for a bit trying to trap him - thinking he might have an A or a pocket pair but he usually checks when he has a big hand and I had flush draw and the ace. Next card is 9 (hearts) giviing me Ace high flush. His response to this card was to go all in - I naturally assume I have the stone cold nuts - nothing there was beating me at the time so quickly called it. He had pocket nines making him 3 of a kind. I was already thinking about what to do with the cash! Next card out is 10 (clubs) making a full house for him and leaving me well... a little upset lets say! I couldn't believe it - I didn't even consider I could get beat on the hand - worse beat of my life. I've been beaten by 4 of a kind before or a straight flush but you just say well done - good hand. To beat like that though I was gutted and then tilted and lost the rest of the chips in about 5 minutes.
