Question Mid to Late tournament strategy

A lot of the times I have no problems accumulating chips in the early stages of tournaments, but it seems that once the tournament progresses, I have a harder time if the cards go dead on me.

Any suggestions?

I hope you get some sugestion...cause i have the same problem at times.

If you don't have cards the only thing you can do is use position and reads. Know who will fold if it is raised, and wait for your opportunity.

Yep I have that problem too a lot. I often have the feeling "the only way I can win is by making opponents fold since I never hit anything", mid-late in tournaments. Luckily people do tend to fold, but playing with fire you usually end up burnt.

All I can say is keep trying to steal hands without commiting too much money, and when you do catch good cards try trick plays. IE mid-late, people almost always raise when you call from the first positions so when I have a decent hand I often call and then reraise. Sometimes it fails but it works very often.
