I say play tight and let the small stack take each other out. Play premium hands and try not to get busted....

Im not a big fan of deviating my play according to the size of my stack. I rather play the same top 10 hands and keep it smart, dont put 2 many of your chips at risk

Being the chip leader puts you that much closer to ultimately winning the tournament, even if you're several rounds away from the final table. It's important to take your status seriously, though. Instead of getting comfortable and playing tight in an effort to keep your stack intact - or alternately playing too loose because you feel like you can absorb the losses - use your chips wisely by taking smart risks and by using your superior stack to bully your less well endowed opponents.

Frankcute makes a good point on how to play as a chip leader in poker games.

I've tried keeping my larger poker chip stack intact and it doesn't work out well.
If I bully the other players with the smaller chip stacks I would be better off than sitting on my chips.
