Default Table Selection

How much effort do you put into table selection? Back in the day, when the fish were more plentiful and I could play at any site I wanted I would put quite a lot of effort into looking for and playing at the loosest tables I could find. Nowadays, though, I don't focus on it very much. I am happy enough to get a table at the limit I want to play, and I take what I can get.

Anyone still spend a lot of time trying to find the best table before checking in to play?

I do, sort of. I hate a tight game, and will always favor a table that has a somewhat high average % of players seeing the flop. I also take into account the average pot size.

I do - more now than ever.

I can also remember opening up a site picking the first available table and sitting down, you were guaranteed a few fish .

Now I tend to pay a little more attention to the flop percentage and the avg. pot size. I take a little better notes on my poker competition as well.
