I honestly couldnt tell you from experiance but I would imagine any game under the $1 limits would be quite poor.....when you get to limits above $1 I would imagine a change in standard.

At those limits if your serious about your game you need some bankroll to back yourself up (20 x max buyin is what i read somewhere) which would be 2K in a 50c/$1 limit game..... so if your playing with that type of bankroll I would imagine the game is taken a little more seriously

Im sure our other members will be able to comment on this as I know several of our players play at higher limits....they would be in a better position to advise you.....

Great post Tom. I usually play these limits when I make the money in a freeroll run on a site I don't deposit to. And your strategy is very good. Another type of player you would see at these tables is the inexperienced NLHE player who just wants to learn the ropes and wants to start out low. The best catch is a Limit player who switches to NLHE because he will probably get in trouble if you keep changing the bet amounts.

I wish I had read this before the last AP flop event because if I had I would have known to muck my high pair and possible nut flush when you bet for value. No that’s a lie I still would have called, you were the bounty and I need a new shirt and ball cap.Â*

I will think twice if there's no price on your head.

This doesnt really apply to tournament play...thats a different kettle of fish

With Tournament play you cant afford just to sit there and play a selection of cards that you want too due the ever increasing blinds.....

In tournament play the blinds dictate your play....

In a cash game the blinds dont change so you are free to play your own strategy as you wish with out the pressure of the increasing blinds...

In cash games you dictate your own play......

lol :P

in a tournament Im much more aggressive and more willing to gamble.....also I will play high cards even though I dont like to...... because there just to good an opportunity to pass up on and as I said you cant afford to wait for the cards you would just like to play in a tournament as the blinds dictate to you how you need to play

Theres a few extra pointers

and also remember I never bluff..........

and besides I dont want you too win against me :P

1 Abondon it

i saw you owning up some titan .10/.20 table last night around 1 am EST so 6 am GMT
I disagree with one thing the 5xBB with AA. I'm sorry but i want no more than 2 ppl going into the flop with me and in my experiences the 1 dollar bet A LOT of times gets called by the whole table(obviously i'm talking .10/.20 tables)so i like to raise it up to 2 dollars UTG. When in LP and 2 or more of the 3 before me limp i stay with 2 dollar bet if 2 have folded i go for 1-2 dollar depends on how i feel.
