We have been talking about meeting up at Poker Stars for a free play game of Texas Holdem or whatever game we all agree on to play. This would be loads of fun and a chance to play against each other for bragging rights here at the forum!

I really hope we get some interested players, if you are up to it, leave a post here, and we will set up a day and time when we can all get together!

I can play in the free games on Saturday or Sunday mornings. 9 am to 12 am.

I might be able to get up at 8am eastern time. I'm usually awake by then, but don't like to crawl outta bed.

I don't think I can play in the money games. Oh, that's because I'm playing at .net and not .com. Guess I will have to check their deposit options on .com.

Will let you know. I can only use Click2Pay, or Visa which I don't like to use.

If you use Poker Stars net software, you can play in all kinds of free games. Never a dull moment with 3 or 4 different money catagories and several games to join.

About every 15 minutes, there's a play money poker tournament starting in the Tournament area. I think there's a freeroll every hour too.
With different games; Omaha high, omaha hi/lo, hold'em, 7 card stud, badugi, razz, 2-7 poker and I think several others.

The play money buy-ins vary from 110 up to 5000+.
So, you may need to build up your chip stack before joining some of the higher buy-in tourneys.

The place to do this is in the Sit & Go area.
I like to play in the 6 player games with 1st and 2nd place payouts.
The 9 and 10 player games will give you payouts in the top 3 places.

I had noticed in the 500 play money buy-in, they have a couple more games you could play as compared to the lower buy-in poker games.
Like 8-Game and Single Draw 2-7. I like to play both.
