Poker Night at my house

With the economy so tough right now, its hard to afford to go out anywhere or to hit the local casinos or even internet casinos, so we are having poker night at my house with my sons, playing a bunch of different games, dealer picks, and playing for nickels and dimes, quater max....this is going to be a good time, and it gets us all together for a night which is priceless! Wish me luck, i plan on taking them for every penny!!! LOLLLLL

Good thing you don't live in SC right now, they tend to drop the SWAT team into your home if you're gambling in a poker game.

We're still waiting on some kind of ruling in this state, to take off the 1802 law that says "no dice or card games are allowed to be played in SC".

I'm hoping I will be able to go to a friend's house sometime in the near future and play/gamble in a poker game.
It's a fun and friendly way to meet new people, plus a good reason to get out of the house while working and living here nearly 24/7.

YOu can come live with us Don, and we will have a poker game, or card game every damn night, let them try and come in my house and tell me what i can or can't do, they will have a big ass fight on thier hands!

That is absolutely ridiculous! I know that some states have laws about organized poker games, were people have to Buy in, or pay the house, But, Come on, a little family poker night>

I think the houses they've been busting, are those which have many hundreds or thousands of dollars envolved, and alcohol and drugs too.

The law enforcement make it sound like a poker game bust, when actually it's mostly about the drugs, money and boose.

And I think the neighbors may have complained about the noise or someone peeing on their bushes at night.

In the past when there were drug busts, did you hear anything about a poker game going on? No.

Because back then poker wasn't the issue, today it is. So now, it's all about playing poker that makes people bad.
