The Google Gods say there is a bunch of duplicate content associated with the forum. The Google Gods frown upon this, so we will look into it.

Most likely there are just some loose ends in the programming, little things like a forgotten / and such.

Our work will be in the background and should not affect you one bit.

But just in case it does - please pardon our dust!

My sincere apologies, the forum was being updated to the newest version of VBulletin while we were working on it anyway and there seems to be a glitch with the skin and some of the admin mods.

Please pardon this while we continue to work and fix it. We will be working on it constantly til it's back.

Posting works as you see, so it's just a drab blue skin for a bit....

Oh boy, 3 kids under 8!

The good news is, while you can't see it yet, the forum will be back with the old functionality and theme, and may even be a bit more spiffy.

I hope to have this all done by tomorrow...

You changed the logo

I remember back in the day when we decided on the original - I made one and thought it was cool... might try and find it

ps. I do like the new layout and that now... just got a bit of getting used to.

That one looks like fun too. Hehe, not changing to blue now, it took days to get the greens right.

Instead of having a skin designed that might crash again with the next update, we took an available, extremely ugly template ( it was red, black and white) and slowly worked it into something that would still carry the original idea, but that would be permanent so we don't have to go through this again.

I don't know diddly about tech stuff, you see propiper logged in sometimes and he's the one who did it, I just drove him nuts with color suggestions. BSClay, whom you see logged in occasionally too, did the logo and input with the colors. He had to crop the old logo to fit, it distorted the frame, so he took part of it and added the little fishies to fill the space. Propiper and BSClay do some neat work, we did www.newhouseflip.com/forum/ together also.

Propiper says that the arcade is there and functional, hehe, but I don't know where it is hiding. We'll have to find it and make it visible.

I feel a bit anxious about this, I feel like I took someone's home and remodeled it without their input. Thing is that it was getting old and the web grew up around it and it just wasn't stable in the long term anymore. Better to put out a controlled fire than a wild one.
