Default 1/2 NL first hand

I just joined the table, and decided to wait for the BB and seen a very agressive player sitting with 250$, so i figured if i got a big hand i would play strong against them. they raised 12 preflop (6xbb) i have AQ, so i put them on a JJ,QQ, or KK doubtfully aces. So flop comes with 2 rages and an ace, so they put out a pot sized bet and i decide to call. turn comes Queen, and they bet pot again, i raise it up to 80 or so and they push all in, and i give it a call and they turn over AK pushed allin with their top pair. funny thing was sure i was behind the early stages, but they pushed all in with just top pair and then went on tilt, reloaded 200 another 3 times and lost to other players on the table haha.

You were pretty close on the call. And that wasn't an all-in you made with a Q in your hand, so you were safe there. Good call.

If the Q hadn't come on the turn, that could've been bad news.
The other player wasn't paying attention to your betting into him, he just saw his pair and thought that was enough.

But I've also lost with an AK to an AQ, just about the same way as you had won your hand, but not an all-in with a pair of A's.

Definitely lucky the Q came, but as everyone's said, the guy played his hand pretty bad... NH!

yes i definately agree i was very lucky the queen came indeed, but if i mispoke i ment that it was him betting into me on the flop and i flat called, thinking however with another strong bet on the turn had i not of hit i most likely would have folded so i suppose i wouldnt have went broke on the hand either way
