Default A couple of very lucky hands....

I have been doing good at Pacific...Yesterday I decided to take a part of my winnings (50$) to a no limit table to see how I measure up.

1. First hand; everyone folds to me in the BB - I have nada

2. Second hand: I wake up in the SB with 5 5, and put in a raise (it's a 6-player table with 4 players present)
Flop comes AA5 - I don't have the nuts but I'm pretty sure someone has an Ace and no five - I raise halfpot - get 2 callers
Turn 5 -thank you very much - I raise pot - both call
River blank - I'm allin - get one caller- With AK - thank you very much

3. I flop a straight that holds up - all the way - don't get much action though...

I left after this....

so papa, your hourly rate is like out of this world then!! i think i wouldve stayed if i was doing that well. you never know if you could be having one of those great days. i know too many people that get off the table too early when they are winning, but stay too long when they are stuck. i think there is an article in cardplayer the last two weeks about this fact, maybe the ted forrest article. i guess it is harder to tell online, but if it was at a cardroom, i definitely would have stayed longer. nice score. do you like playing at pacific? i like pacific for its live table games. i also like ub.

The truth is had I stayed longer I would have lost it all. I am extremely uncomfortable playing NL cash. So bailing out was my best option.

I have a love/hate relationship with Pacific. I love the action/quality of players, but it's the worst piece of crap software in the industry. UB is one of my favorites too, although their tournament schedule is a bit boring - the same crap everyday....

Since you can only play one table at a time there (no idea why) I'd try their $1/2 table. Its sooo fishy!!

Hey did you get your bonus yet or what? I'll tell you one thing about Pacific.. cashouts are very very slow. Like 10 days or so to get your money

Bonus requirements met. Plus a little some profit. I'll probably cash out soon.

so I guess your book will be about "How to make ppl fold when you have nothing" "How to get four of a kind when someone else has a full house" and most importantly "When to leave?" :> well done to leave after these hands
