Default Anyone else celebrate Quads-Day yesterday ?

September 25 will henceforth be known as QD

I flopped quads 3 times yesterday!

1. Quad 5:s in PL Omaha H/L (unfortunately there was a low hand)
2. Quad Aces in limit Holdem (Actually milked some money out of it)
3. Quad 8:s in limit Omaha h/l (no low hand - nice pot since someone apparantly had a boat with something full of eights).

On the other hand my nemesis tournament (2K quarantee at UB 5+0,50$) treated me as it always does. After the first break I was 5 in chips with 83 players left. About 6 hands later I'm out in 59 place with 50 places paying. I did play some excellent poker though - but received 2 or 3 pretty brutal beats in a row....

All in all it was a good day (not counting the FairPoker debacle)

Something's afoot at Bossnetwork. Flopped another quad yesterday; 7:s. In total I've played roughly 120 hands there, and flopped quads 3 times. Can someone do the math on how probable that is?

I deposited 50 bucks to try and playout the 30$ bonus - 100 hands. After 120 hands on 1/2$ limit holdem I'm up to 175$ (bonus included). I'm simply not that good a player.

I hate conspiracy theories about poker software, but this is a bit odd. Or the players there are extremely bad. I'm leaning towards alt. 2. For instance, the hands I've played hardly anyone has ever made a preflop raise except for me. So I get to see the flop for free in the BB almost everytime. That's moronic, since I will flop an invisible monster from time to time.

Hi mate an early post for me before I go on the school run... I used to think that alot about the shuffle of cards at the online sites... dont get me wrong I think some sites are worse than others... but I dont think the cards are fixed in any way

I also think after watch some poker on the T.V that its not that different from real play.. I was watching a WPT final table and remember seeing these beauties......

Can't remember the names Tom Arnold I think was one and Phil Ivey was at the table some old guy and an oriental player....

Anyway The oriental player lost most his chips when a player busted his Kings with AQ....he didnt spike the Ace.. he got a runner runner Queen on the Turn and River!!!!

Then he went all in short stacked with 45s against a high pair and nearly doubleled up.... the guy had 19 outs at the turn but still managed to miss his cards so he went out....

Then it was down to three and Phill Ivey went out after first running into a pair of queens with his 6's and then into Kings with his 9's....

Not that different from our online experiances... only more money at stake lol

Tom
