It took a couple of hours, but I did it. I was able to accumulate most of my chips when everyone was playing very tight near the money and at the final table... and I finally got heads up with a player calling him/herself "staceypie." I had around 120,000 in chips and she had like 5,000. I had her all-in with three outs going to the river and she hit her nine. 'Oh, well,' I though. I still have a dominating chip position. After a few boring hands where I had no cards and stacey had built her stack up to about 16,000, I called her all-in with Q-9. She had K-J and it held up. Now I was getting a little worried. But still, I had her by quite alot of chips. Anyway, after a few more boring hands, she went all-in aand I called with K-4 for the 68,000 chip pot. She had A-J. I was getting freaked out. If she won this one, we would be almost even, only about 20,000 chips separating us. Well, the flop came three blanks, the turn was a queen, (which I thought was a king,) and just as I was beginning to really get freaked out the river ws the King!!!!
Well, I have to say I am rather proud of defeating a field of mostly very good poker players, (with the exception of the clown with the screen name 'hollisisafag,) and I must say that it was a very well run poker tournament. The blinds weren't too fast, not too slow, and I had a great time. Thank you, Hollis and the other moderators, for making this site possible.
