yay got 6th place for 3.50 !!! WOW THATS HUGE! now im gonna go lose my 3.50 it took me 2 hours to get..

I've played the pokerhost heads-up tourny a few of times and never made it very far. Whenever i did get past the 1st round or two, some people already had so many much chips than me i had no chance. What's your strategy for this tourny, i've tried taking it slow and grinding them down, do you have to play looser and try to knock them out quick?

well you just read how the player plays... see if their tight or a loose player..call them down with like 2 hands and see if they bluff or only play good hands...if they only play good hands and fold on any bet without anything, then play very aggressive...bet at anything he checks until he check raises you.. once u learned this then its easy

Congratz!! I keep playing those but never get far. I'm just a bad heads up player, but I'm getting better.

you prob. took me out on your way to that nice finish.lol I jus started playing myself in these tourneys, thanks to freerollerz post somewhere that directed me there. The one thing I truly dislike which has been posted above is how after advancing you end up heads up with a monster stack. I wish they would play this in true heads up fashion with each player starting hte next round with the same amount of chips. Playing tight and smart will not accumulate alot of chips unless you get a good run of cards and they hold up. But hey they are freerolls and where there are freerolls I will be
