It was extremely slow . . at least the first three hours. We played 5h45m in total. I caught two or three very very lucky rivers at the right time. Otherwise it was all about patience and stealing like a madman on the button. And not folding middle pair...it improves often enough to at least see the turn, maybe even the river if there isn't an obvious chance you're drawing dead...

I noticed that a lot of the preflop raisers do not give up and do continuation bets not only on the flop but also on the turn and river. Many times my calls with stuff like Q8s where I hit the 8 on the flop held up against an AK AJ etc....

The nice thing about limit was that you could actually survive a mistake unlike NL....
