All in or fold

I played in a tourney called "all in or fold" this was so much fun. It's played as holdem but the only difference is that once you get your cards you have to call all in or you have to fold the hand. The game doesnt last too long and you really have to look at it as a fun game. Has anyone else every played in a game like that before? If so what did you think about it?

LOL yes it is but this is the rules to the game. You have to go all in if you think you'll win the hand or fold if you think you'll lose... I had a blast and after you've taken the pot a few times you're not so scared to go all in. It's the 1st time you call all in that you get scared. It was pretty fun.

Exactly!! At least that is how it seems sometimes, players either go allin or they foldem. Beware, players will even go allin with a 2 9 offsuit, which is a bunch of crap especially when they beat your A-K suited. I am beginning to hate freerolls for this very reason because you know darn well that a player would not play a hand like this if they had their real $$ on the line and if they do then they are either extrememly rich or just plain idiots!

I'm sick of players going all in.. unless I have a monster hand, but like you said that never seems to hold up. I was playing last nite and this guy had 8 times as many chips as the rest of us. The game just started so you knew he musta been going all in to win a stack like that... By the 1st break he was out of the game.. Its knowing when to call his all ins and I did .. p aces, someone had p Jacks and the all in guy had p 9's .. Because I had aces I was sure i'd lose to either one of them but it held up for me this one time.. but yeah all iners suck unless you can get them to play you off and its hard to do when you want to play poker.

i hear ya about allin people , the only way i go all in is with big slick aces or kings. or when i have to do something with my daughter. but where do you find tourneys like that /allin or fold/ i would like to try it

Ihate when ppl go all in with crap. some freerolls are ridiculous. its crazy when u got ppl beating your aces with 36 offsuit and then talkin shit to you like YOU didnt belong in the hand. lol I've even played money games where i've had ppl go all in and called with Ace Queen suited to lose to their 2-3...its pretty sick!
