Default Any1 here play in the casino

Ok people need some advice, Going to rama in a week yaaahoooo I have never played there with cards of course before always slots. My thinking is why just throw my money away that easy in the machines pushing a button for a few hours when I can have a little more fun instead. I do very well in tournaments soso cash games (to much bluffing and chasing) which I have been correcting. Any tips? What amount of table to play? Also want to try let it ride/spanish 21 they look like fun.

Just put it all your cash on red on the roullette - if you lose - more time to get drunk. If you win - you've doubled up your cash - take it and get drunk lol

Honestly though - if it's your first time play as low a buy-in / limits as you can so you get a feel for playing live at a casino - the blind structures etc etc.... At the end of the day you aren't playing events like these to make your fortune - just have fun and gain some experience from it then slowly work up.

Default Love to play tables at casinos

I pretty much stick to table games in casinos vs. the slots, only because it seems like my money last longer. For instance, when I do play slots, I usually play the $1 slots and I will stick a $100 bill in and click spin at the max, which might last me all but 10 mins, unless I hit something and can keep playing. On the other hand, if you take a $100 and buy chips at say a blackjack table and play on a minimum bet of $5 then you can probably play 1 to 2 hours before being wiped out. It has been a while since I have played LetItRide but it I am not mistaking, your money can go quite fast in this game but some people love to play it. Anyway, I agree with the other post that until you feel comfortable with the table game you choose, always go for the lowest minimum bet table, because you can always increase your bet when you get the hang of it but if you are on a losing streak then you can always lower your bet back down. Good luck to you.

Cool

Thanks ....I think i'll stick to hold em as I play that more frequently. May sound silly but this week been practising online as I read that you should only be calling about %20 of hands...thus the ones that have a standing chance. So what I have done is gone to play money tables only put 400 play chips at the 10/20 table and watched the hands that I chose to play. Majority of the time I increased my pot...which I must say is alot more difficult being its play money and people dont care and keep raising. I think that is what I will be doing tomorrow. Let you all know how I do.

The problem I find playing at the casino (at least where I am from) most of the time the games are limit. I started out playing limit holdem, but once I started playing no-limit I do not like limit anymore. The guys above here hit it, make sure you are comfortable at the size/amount of table you choose and don't play out of your comfort zone.
