is it even really worth it to try in like the quarter million dollor main event tournys and stuff or are you better off just staying to your smaller cash games or small freeroll games

It's strictly a matter of personal preference, and you can change your mind whenever you like. Sometimes, I don't mind playing for a big prize even though I'm likely not to win anything for my time. Other times, I'm just not in that mood.

Yes, that is true. But in fact freerolls can be a great way to make money. Especially once you get high in the tournament.

On the other hand, i can see where you are coming from. I do prefer cash games just because of the immediate reward for a good play.

Yeah I won 130 at dream poker in a planet 7 tourney and already lost the money. I needed to keep the money in there and just play the freerolls for a while...

hmmmm... free chance at a 250,000 dollar prize.... is it worth it?

I would say yes, even though your chances are like one in a hundred million, someone has to win the damn thing, could be you.
