Good going 19RK64.

Is that what propiper was talking about?

The last five get 1st place. Wow, what a bargain. Hey, money is money.

Personally I cant get my head around these games. I will play them 12 handed but dont really suit my style of play. I have a fairly high win rate when I hit the cash positions and thats where I make my money. To me double or nothing sucks in that respect.

3500-4000 is time to sit out. others will bust each other out trying to pick up your blinds. With that sort of chipstack, I expect to cash in a normal game and pick up more.

Grinding out a double or nothing is tough. It seems a softer option for building up a bankroll but im one of those loonies who plays to win and pick on the tight players, but it only takes one fish to cost you 2 games.

In a normal game, you can play in a similar fashion and you will soon have your 50/50 chance of a top 3 payout with better cash.

My fav at that site is the 18 player turbos.

I heard you on the one fish messing things up bobbysands90.

I played in a Full Tilt freeroll where the top 72 players would go to a money tournament. There were 3,000 plus players and I only made it to 15 minutes after the first break, because of a fish. I finished in the top 1,200 which is ok, but doesn't get to me to the money tables.

My down-turning point; I have KK in my hand and catch my set on the flop so I make a pot bet. The second player after me goes all-in and I have enough to call plus an extra 2,000 in chips. He had gut-shot strait draw and on the river he catches his strait.

I guess some people are just that darn lucky at making it at fishing for their straits.
Who goes all-in like that with nothing on the board?

Geez, i have to tell you, listening to you two discuss back and forth the strategy that you use, makes the case for the poker world with the USA laws that poker playing is a skill, not a game of luck!

Maybe some law makers should pop in once in a while and read the post of poker players and see for themselves just what goes into the game of poker!
