Default Favorite Atlantic City Poker Room

I live about 5 minutes from Atlantic City and I play there on a daily basis. Let me know your favorrite poker room and and why.

My favorite room is Billy's at Bally's . Mostly because they allow smoking at the table. But there are also alot of regulars there that I like to play with.
I also like the House of Blues and Borgata. The Borgata has a really nice room that serves food and has a very nice lounge. The only problem I have with Borgata is that it takes a while to get on a table, but that will cahange soon as they are going to open up their new room in a few weeks.

I used to live pretty close by and never went there. I now live in ohio and my casino trips are usually to canada to casino windsor. I have two sisters in connecticut and i go to foxwoods or mohecan sun when i visit them. Some fellow workers and I have been talking about getting an overnight trip together for atlantic city but nothing definate yet. Wouldnt mind some suggestions of where to play. By the way, we are all smokers.

I'm only just getting out of high school so i'm not able to go gambling in a casino yet, but I like to Taj mahal. I have peeked in there a few times, and It looks like a lot of fun. My retarded mother plays the slots...I keep telling her to play poker, but she doesnt listen...

We just got back from a weekend in Atlantic City. My son and I love Billy's Poker room @ Bally's. We also played at Harrahs which is pretty nice. We didn't play at the Tropicana this weekend but my son has been there for tourneys in the past. Son was much luckier than me this weekend (I should have kept my Jade ring instead of giving it to him for luck LOL) He came home $500 ahead, I didn't come home broke but didn't make out as well as he did.

If you are a smoker than Bally's is your best bet. But The Sand has some great tournament action and you can smoke in the room. You just can't smoke at the table.

Good Luck

Haven't played in any live rooms yet, but my b/f does. He like the Borgata because of no smoking, lol. If I were to choose, it'd be at the smoking room.

I was playing roulette at a table and doing very well. I asked for an ashtray and was told it was a no smoking table....what's next, no drinking either, LOL.

"Please no gambling at the casinos, we have determined that it is wrong and may bother other customers"

I cashed in my chips. Dealer was amazed that I was leaving 'cause I was hitting them so well.

But if I were to vote on my favorite casino in general, I'd pick the Borgata. It looks cool, lol. And they serve bottles instead of draft beer when you're on the floor or at a table. Bally's only serves watered down draft beer, lol.

But they don't have bottles of Coors light, lol. Only Miller Lite.

Maybe I'll see you around sometime down there. I'll be the one at the roulette table going 'What the heck do you have to do to get a waitress around here??' roflmao.

LOL still haven't played any live poker at the casinos, so that doesn't apply. I don't think I'd drink while playing poker anyway.

...but you're still welcome to buy me 5 or 10 beers, LOL
