I too prefer NL Holdem and I too used to feel real confident LOL until I got my butt beat bad a couple of times. Sometimes my strategy has to be thrown out the window and you just have to go for the juggler (unless of course this is your strategy from the get go. LOL). Anyway, I do agree that the NL is the best game because you can win it all if you have a great hand and someone calls your allin bet, vs. the limited which as the name states limits your winnings if you have a good hand.

i hear ya. i learned too play 18 months ago and i can't stop playing i have my whole family playin. Every thursday we go to the bar together and play then go home and play online. o and do you play AP cause i recinize that screenname. I'm new but don't let that make u think any different i am pretty good

NL is the best way to play. theres nothing better than the thrill of an all-in bet. the suspense is great. some of these sites are a pain in the ass tho..i get rivered way too often lol

A follow up...I still prefer NL Holdem but I am really getting tired of the allin bets with the 7-2 OS and the player actually winning against my pocket As or any other hand that starts out better. I almost never call an allin bet preflop because as we all know, anything can happen and your cards are only as good as the flop or should I say "RIVER" LOL!!!
