i was wondering if anyone ever went to the niagara falls casino to play txas holdem, becaus wher i live its illligal in casinos but i might go all over to niagara to play, if any already went could u just reply, id like to ask phew questions.
I have not heard anything good about Casino Niagra. Now Casino Seneca Niagra I heard is great!!!!! The hotel is now open and everyone I know who has been loves it!!! I have been to its sister casino, Seneca Allegheny. It is not completely finished but I loved it. Will be going back in the next couple of weeks. Seneca Niagra will be my next overnighter I think. As for the free drinks, aren't they always free in US casinos? I know in Canada they are not but I thought here in the good ol US of A they always were!
Free beer at the casino? Nice. Ill be hitting that one up next week. So which is the newer one, Niagara or Seneca? and how do they compare? And wha kinda games do they have running?
I have played in the casino in Niagra Falls in Canada and it is far superior to the one in the states and if you win big the winnings are not taxable. The only drawback is that alcaholic drinks are not free but everyone knows that you shouldn't overindulge in alcoholic drinks when playing anyways. They have limit,no limit and have recently added SNG's to the offering. Free drinks is a way to get people to gamble more and a cheap trick. Studies have proven overwhelmingly that people will gamble and lose more when they are under the influence. The American casinos do it so they can rip you off for more when you are vulnerable as opposed to doing it because they care about you. In this world there is seldom a free lunch.
Are you close to Niagra Falls? If so, there is a casino in Salamanca, New York that has a pretty nice poker room, and they DO serve free drinks there!!!!
I have played at both Casino Niagara and Seneca. Seneca is a lot nicer - its a real room rather than a corner of the casino blocked off from the rest of the casino by a rail - and offers daily tournaments at 10 am; so far Casino Niagara only offers a $35 buy in tournament on Tuesdays. On the other hand they do run $1/2 (cdn) no limit table with $100 max buy in and numerous $2/4, $5/10 tables. Also, it is a very important disticnction that ALL gambling winnings in Canada are treated as windfalls and are NOT TAXABLE. For anything besides poker, I don't see how you can beat canada for gambling.
