I entered Telegraph yesterday. Really wanted to do the late one but entered the early one as well, in case I'd get a moment to play.

No, I couldn't play so I went to the computer and went all-in 4 times in a row with utter garbage, this move of course putting me in the top 10. OK I stay in sitout until the field has thinned a bit.

After the first break I get 15min to spare and sit down to play. 5 min later I'm out - lost 5 hands in a row with stuff like AKs KK AQs and TT.

What is the moral of the story?

I don't know. But it makes me sick. I'm sticking to low fixed-limit split pot games thank you verry much.
edit: OK I changed it to weird and wonderful. Don't wanna step on 700x10 toes....

Uh oh Papa!! You're not going to make many friends with this post hahaaa!! NL Holdem is what they play on TV, therefore it MUST be the best! TV has NEVER EVER lied to me..

If I had a giant bankroll I would consider playing no limit - but I can't afford waiting for the long run - and the short run usually kills me. If it's not that - I'll be intoxicated or tilting or just plain stupid. At least playing limit negates a little bit of the above.

No I won't make friends I guess. But I've got you and the crew. I'm inviting "HOLDEM IS THE BEST" one-liners.

Ican see where you coming from buddy I just think the swings are much more bigger in no limit so when you do catch a bad beat you feel it more as more money is lost.... I prefer no limit in a tourney and fixed in my ring games 8)

I can control my losses much better that way!!!! lol

no limit is the only game I understand ....fl and pl seem to never make sense and I never get any hands they are slow and boring....I like the action and enjoy the ability to drive my opponents out of the hand rather then lose it on the river
