Default No-Limit Texas Hold'em Strategy - Low Stakes

1.No Mistakes, example when you put money in the pot when you are behind, and you do not have correct drawing odds.

2.Set or Above, you are looking at pocket pairs, decent sized connectors or one-gaps, and good suited cards.

3.Cheap Flops, you want to see as many flops as possible where if you hit you can be confident of winning.

4.Beware TPTK,Top Pair Top Kicker is a great hand, to start with.

5.Win Big Pots, Lose Small Ones.

Default Re: No-Limit Texas Hold'em Strategy - Low Stakes

I try to go by those strategy standards, but it gets harder to stick to them as I progress in a poker tournament.

If you play casual enough during a poker tournament, and not try to win it all from the get-go, you can make it through an hour or more in a tourney.

Just stick close to those strategy standards and you can play for a long time while playing No-Limit Texas Hold'em.
