How did this tourney go beaston?
I hope you at least made it to the money round.

Good news, in a way, you did make something out of your play.
I bet you're a bit nervous about the next game too.
I remember the one 2g tourney I was in. It was fast and furious for myself.
If I had it to do over again, I would just sit back and relax. Maybe play a few games on the side.
I get all hiped up when I play the money games, and then make a couple mistakes, and that ends it for me.
If a person could just make it through the first hour, pick up a few blinds and a couple good pots, they may have a chance at the money tables further in the tournament.
How do you work your magic beaston?
I could use a few hinters to even make it close to the first place spot, the way you have several times already, in the primer games (games played before the real money games).

You're right...sitting back and waiting early on is the best key, you can't afford to be loose and aggressive early on in these satellites...unless they're rebuys and you have a lot of FPP to blow through...lol
Patience patience patience and more patience is the key when you finally make the big tournaments....remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint...

Thats the kind of advice in need when playing....Beaston would you consider being that little guy that sits on my shoulder and tells me all the right things to do, while the bad little guy on the other shoulder tells me to go all in?

I don't know the actual title, but I think it's the poker song.
"You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run.
You never count your money when you're sittin' at the table, they'll be time enough for countin', when the dealin's done."
Something like that. I love listening to that song.
