Default signs to look for

I met someone at a tournament te other day and he invited me to play in his weekly tournament of NL he said the entry is usually somewhere between $5 and $20
after i left i told a friend about this and he said he wouldnt play with the kid cause he heard the kid and his friends cheat the people they invite outta their money.
im not sure how they cheat or even if they do so im planning on goin at least once but i need to know some signs that i can look for to see if they are cheating or not.

If you lose they cheated - if you win they never

Hard to say what to watch out for:

If someone raises and someone else always folds
More people stay in the hand with you than they do others
Hand signals / gestures / words repeated over the game with same result... i.e. someone coughs someone else folds etc etc..

It's hard to say really mate - if in doubt just don't play the game - sure you could find another more legit one about somewhere.

Oh.. nearly forgot...

Keep a very close eye on the dealer I won't go into detail because you just need to know most of the tricks to be able to spot them really. I'm not talking like cards of the bottom of the deck and stuff people are much better at it nowadays but if they see you're keeping a close eye might stop them doing it (if they do it at all anyway).

you can't really cheat online, unless you have a really really really good poker bot but those can be pretty expensive

Its depends it could be a group of players who are together and play bad poker by moving all-in everyhand to make it hard for you to play your normal game.

a poker team can get u online or u can get them just pay attencion to betting patterns gives there whole schem away once u catch on and watch the chip passing a low stack in bad postion raiseing big keeping a lousy 100 chips followed by a call from a big stack both might be weak the low stack will push all in and the big stack will fold just to double him up if u got a hand play it usally come out ahead

Ya that dealer is a tricky man\lady they want u to fall for they trap because they have to find a way for someone to get out so the tournament or ring game to be over at some point. It might be computerized i think that if anyone finds out someones is dealing the cards u can sue that poker site for all its worth. It is automatically is supposed to be randomized bye the site!
