Default Sister inlaw having a home game, what do you think?

Okay guys here is my dilemma or do I look at it as easy money LOL. My sister inlaw who doesn't know NL Holdem too well is hosting a home game tomorrow night. The big deal to me is it is a $100 buy in for at the most 10 people! She got the idea because she went to a friend's house and that is how they did it. Now I don't know who all is going to be there but I am not sure if I am interested or not. I am not used to $100 buy in for only 10 people, larger numbers of people yes but for 10 people we usually play at $25 buy in, the most I ever paid was $50. So is this easy money or will I have a bunch of all in idiots like you find online? Hhhhmmm...what to do....

Even if Ivey, Helmouth, Chan and co were all playing I'd play mate... I don't lose live games :P

If you aint comfortable playing that buy-in level ... regardless of competition I wouldn't play because it'll affect your game. If you are then you have no idea if they will be bad or good players (you only know one player... your sister in-law). If they are all bad players don't bluff play fairly tight and you'll win.

So true, it will affect your game and you can't do much about that. Does all the money go to the winner or how is the payout structure. If you play the best hands and stay out of the alins you should probably make top 3.

I'd say you should play!

Have fun

You'll most likely try to run the table and get outdrawn because women than don't know how to play end up making calls that allow luck to make a showing on the river.

Play. If you don't win I'm sure you'll have fun at least. Consider it a social expense. If she threw a regular party you'd spend $100 anyway on a gift, booze, a new skirt or whatever.

Now go win
