Default Tourneys with rebuys and addons

Well did I have a rude awakening! I tried my frist tourney that allowed rebuys and addons. I thought I was doing pretty good at the break and then all of a sudden I saw a bunch of players surpass me after they finished their addons. Actually, I believe that they did a rebuy right before the break and then an addon. My chip count didn't look so great after this and I quickly went down the tubes. I am not sure if I like these type of tourneys because I found some players going all in hoping to hit the mother lode knowing that they could rebuy if they lost their chips, so I think I will stick with the freezeouts.

hehe, i tried the same type of tournament a couple of days ago. It was a
11K guaranteed tourney, and that was not to shabby for a 10$ buy in, with a first place prize of 2750 dollars. I was doing well without making andy addons or rebuys, and my chip count was up to 14k after 1 hour and 30 min. The same much as the person next to me who had already used 60 bucks on this tourney.
But i have to admit that these types of tournies are really hard to win if you dont make your add ons or play like a fool the first hour. I think i will keep trying my luck though and hope for the top prize

you really have to be prepared to re-buy or addon 4 times the amount you put in for. i think those kinds of re-buy tournaments require so much more luck than skill

actually you can lose alot of money in the rebuys. I have seen players rebuy over and over, I really don't care for them to much .

Default Rebuys

I do not like to play them they are worse than freerolls with people going all in with rags and then catching cards to beat you. I has to have a good size overlay to be worth it. Some of the quarantee games are worth it. Canbet has a $4000.00 for $2. that sometimes has a low entry count.
