Default How to Play Stud

1.Place your ante.

2.Watch the dealer deal you three cards, two face down and one face up.

3.The player with the lowest card by suit will bet first, then dealer will deal the next card face up. This is called Fourth Street.

4.Bet again if you have a hand worth playing and the dealer will deal you Fifth Street.

5.Look at your seven cards and try to make the best high hand, following the usual poker rules.

I think if this is a 7 Card Stud game, your a couple streets short of a stud game...

After 5th street and bets are made, there is 6th street.
The lowest ranking card starts with a forces bet (or folds).

Next is 7th street (or what I like to call, "down and dirty").
The Dealer deals this card face down.
The final bets are made in this hand, and the "dirty" truth comes out to who's got the winning hand.

I wonder if we have any stud players in the crowd who would give a few hinters on how to stay alive in this game?

The reason I don't play 7 Card Stud is because I really don't know how to play it that well.

Don't get me wrong, I love to play just about any card game, but 7 Card can be a bit confusing at times.
So many hand possibilities for yourself and other players as well.

I would think if you could master this stud game, you could take off in a regular game of Holdem.
