Default No-one likes 7-card stud either apparently!

I quite like 7-card stud too. Can't believe noone has posted anything here either. Obviously all just hardcore holdem fans eh? My best stud hand to date (been playing only 2 months) was four of a kind 4s. Not that special but I was dealt the 4 4s first four cards. How often does that happen?? I think it's about 80,000-1 or something on a table of 10 players. Let me know if I'm wrong.

i am a 7 card stud fan as well and yes, it is hard to find a lot about stud or any freerolls at many of the sites. i dont play stud in live ring games but enjoy playing online. i like practicing both stud and omaha on the net. poker is truly about holdem now, and the stud and omaha freeroll tournaments are just crapshots with people raising on anything preflop. it seems that stud is too slow for most holdem players and they just like to create action and hope to make big pots. i dont think too many people, especially the newcomers, really know how to play stud or omaha very well. i am always looking for good stud tournaments. if anybody can recommend any, it would be appreciated. i was a regular at the 4:30 am est stud at pokerhost, but the site eliminated that tournament and only runs omaha at that time. i was told that ap runs some good stud tournies, but i dont see too many other sites running any.

JetSet poker has a couple of $1 stud tournaments everday.. theres not alot of players in them so you have a good chance of making it in the money. And the ones that do play usually know what they're doing (except me lol)

I like 7-Card Stud because of its lower bluffing, best hand wins quality (I usually take down pots with 2 pair to full house).
I enjoy 7-Card Stud High/Low Variation the most (I enjoy folding till I can make both a high and low hand, this does take more patience but worth it)!

Cut my poker teeth on house games like Draw, 5 card stud, and 7 card stud. I have focused on Hold-em on the online games but may start playing more 7 card if my bankroll grows!

I love 7 Card Stud as well. Also, I like H/L. Does anyone know if there's PL or NL games anywhere for Stud? I'd love to play those but all I can play is limit. It's kind of a slow paced game, but I still like it. Do any sites offer NL or PL, or is it "not the style"?
