i like regular stud better than hi lo it can cost you alot trying to draw for a low hand i had 3 queens showing once in regular stud kept betting it and could not boat up someone kept calling me on a straight draw and hit on river i don't know about you but i would not call on a straight draw with trips showing some people

Stop chasing the draw. I like the hi/low version for the opposite reason, people keep drawing for the low hand, I keep raising to build the pot, its great.

Maybe you should also consider being more selective with your starting hands
