I had the same problem !!! lol Thought it was hi/lo for a couple hands. Had a slow start but it was fun, a good game !! Maybe better than hi/lo because you don,t get the All-in as soon as some-one hits the nut low !!! ?

I got back from a political rally soaked to the skin from a rain shower, out of breath from running the last half mile to make the game in time (this was half hour past midnight for us euro heros), and suitably drunk.
Stripped off, logged into AP, found the game and got there just in time to watch myself being removed for sitting out the first level.

I think it is important that everybody knows this as it will help to put further comments on this thread into a truer perspective.

It's quite clear that had I played I would've won with ease, and felt it only fair to remind you all of this.

If you truly believe you would have won - merely because you are a great Omaha player - think again. This had a couple of parameters that do not fit well with playing well:

1. It was NL
2. It was an open for all freeroll
3. The majority played any 4 pre-flop like it were the nuts
4. As a result of 2. some people (like the OP) play it like it doesn't matter "eh what the hell - I will call off my entire stack on the turn with 8 outs"

Perhaps we should have Lotto or Bingo games in FLOP too ?

I don't want to be negative or **** on anyones parade - but this freeroll was not one of my favorites ever - and I truly doubt that I will play another Omaha game with this community unless it is limit (Then we shall truly shine.). Why? Because I am an incredibly sour loser, that's why.

1/ NL suggests my win wouldve been significantly faster and more emphatic due to the pot size being limited only by the number of maniacs in it.
2/ I thrive on bleeding the stupid and sapping their will to fold.
3/ That shall be their undoing
4/ I would only see the turn with at least 15 outs
