If you have to play Omaha, which do you prefer,

Hi/ low or regular

I prefer Hi/Lo just because I have played lots of 7 card stud Hi/lo and I like the concept of winning on two different tyoes of hands. I like playing both but Hi/lo seems better to me.

When I played Omaha I preferred Hi/Lo because you can be dealt something like AA23 and turn it into a Hi, Lo, or both. Omaha8 means too much folding for my tastes.

Hi/Lo becouse skin here is more important i think.... if you do well you can win lot of money without risk so much...
call only when you have also the minimum...

Just to clear it up for you. Omaha8 and Omaha hi/lo are the same thing. (eg Omaha Hi/Lo 8s or better is abreviated to Omaha8).

The high hand only version is just called Omaha. Sometimes called 4 card Omaha as there are versions where you are dealt 5 or even 6 hole cards.

Incidentally, If you are playing Omaha Hi/Lo correctly you will be folding more hands than in Omaha (hi). This is because you should only be playing hands that allow the opportunity to scoop both the Hi and the Lo pots.

sometimes i screw up and pick a plain omaha game and about 3 - 4 hands into it realize that it isnt hi/lo

I like normal omaha (is there such a thing?). I usually play to win anyway, but hi/low lets you get a chance to win something by playing the low crap cards so you will see everyone basically playing the flop.

I like h/l better. It is a more fun and challenging game. Regular omaha i do not know its like blah. I do not enjoy playing it. But Omaha H/L is great game to play. It is just so much more fun and intriging to play i definetly prefer playing h/l better

Preferably, I personally like Pot limit Hi/Lo. Much better game than Limit as you get the raise mules in full force who have no idea what they are doing.
