i dont like omaha

i dont like omaha but obviously some people do am i missing something is there some angle that makes it better?

I like omaha h/l ring. Omaha h/l is by far the easiest game to play. If you play ring it is so easy to win play omaha h/l. I was playing on pokerstars really small blinds and you could raise and people would call u with any two cards. There are so many people willing to call u with bad cards that all u have to do is wait for a hand. I like to have a hand that has two low cards and two face cards.

i always used to suck at omaha , but have found lately when my holdem is bad and i try it for a change i am getting better and better at it .......like i said , its good for a change sometimes

I don' like omaha too. For me it's a too complicated game , there's too variable too calculate to have the right odds. Maybe if someday I'll be a great texas holdem player I will try to understand the strategy and the game of Omaha

Oh i do like to play normal Omaha, but im not really too keen on hi/lo
i find it difficult to grap, and for some people its not a prob. Each to their own eh?

I'm with Smirk. Can't really say I care for Omaha or that I am any good at it. If your hand isn't at least a straight or better, forget it, you lose it seems. Anyhow, we should all learn to play Omaha, as a number of leagues are incorporating this game into play. Alternating between NLHE, RAZZ, etc.

There's no good reason anyone has to like Omaha, either regular or hi-lo. It's certainly a more complicated game than holdem, and that in itself is enough to discourage some people. On the other hand, the same reason can be an attraction to others; one possible reason is that it's harder to be good at, but if you get there, you may have a greater advantage than you would in holdem.

As I get better at Omaha I enjoy it more...understanding the right starting hands and reading the board are paramount for good play,. Plus. the donks always want to see the flop in every hand so its always good money when you have the nutz.
