Default Omaha H/l vs Omaha

I think I've finally got a handle on Omaha H/L. Maybe! LOL. It took me awhile as I am an avid NL Holdem player.

As far as regular Omaha, this one is pretty tricky and cuts down the odds of winning. Well, at least for me since my fav Omaha hands are the low ones hehe.

Ohmaha H/L is an odds only game, I don't think you get into alot of 'bluffing and/or playing the people instead of the cards' senerios in H/L because you don't know if the people in the hand are on a high or low hand. I just look at Reg Omaha a a juiced up version of holdem that you need a full house to win any given hand, it is not often that less than 2 pair wins. If the bluff is your strong point I reccomend steering clear of H/L

It strikes me that Omaha and even more so Omaha hi-lo, are drawing games compared to holdem. In that regard, they're more like limit holdem than NL. Bluffing can work, but there are often more people drawing against you, so it's naturally harder to push them all off a hand.

I agree it is harder to get people to fold their draws, But then if you hit on the flop and they are waiting to hit, You still have a better chance. and she is right Low hands are by far my favorite hands, cause the high hand changes at any time

Default omaha vs hi/lo

i prefer omaha better cuz u get a better payout when u hit the nuts therefore hi/lo someone will play lo cards and call no matter what or try to raise u out when they hit thier lo even tho u may have a better hand

Don't compare Omaha and Omaha8, they are so different games. The only similarity is the rule of 3 cards from the board and 2 from your hand.

Good starting hands are very different. In Omaha8 you try to win both pots hi and lo while in regular Omaha you only need the hi. That makes Omaha8 much more complicated game than any other poker game.

Anyway, that's my favourite game and you can win a lot of money since it's full of donks and almost nobody knows how to play that game.
