Proudly presenting my last ring-game hand ever (BadBeat warning...)
And I'll say it before you do - I shouldn't have played this hand in the first place - but I was tilting and was in the blind - so I said XXXX it...

Oh papa....
You already said it about playing the hand in the first place.
You really should've mucked that 1 after the flop though.
Still never mind, you can bounce back with fresh untilted vigour in the new year.

Omaha its one heck of a game after the turn you had to stay. I really would call this a bad beat thats just omaha. A game I really like playing.

Re: Proudly presenting my last ring-game hand ever (BadBeat warning...)
You pretty much played it the way you had too other than folding before the flop, although I personally would have folded at the river since at least 1 boat seemed inevitable. After the turn they were chasing within reason, but barely. At that point it should have been clear that a flush was held by someone as well as 2 pair and the possibility of a wheel chase. So they all made the decision to chase. But people will chase big pots.
Gotta love Omaha H/L

This is exactly why I can't play Omaha except in freerolls anymore. I'd have been putting everything I had in at the turn, and would not have been able to let go after the river.
Gotta love it indeed
