Default Some intersesting myths

1.Play All Hands With an Ace,this is not Holdem

2.Only Play For the Best High Hand, you are playing for both hi and low.

3.Calling Bets On Future Odds, this can cause a very uncomfortable situation.

4.Keep Tabs on All the Outs,Omaha Hi Lo has plenty of combinations to be had.

I think it is interesting to know myths before you play, so you know real from unreal, to help you make no mistakes, well at least less of them.

Default Re: Some intersesting myths

I think my main problem while playing Omaha hi/lo is doing what it says by #3...

Hoping I will get the best low or high hand to get a piece of the pot.
I think most all players are like this from time to time. Especially when they don't get any winning hands after sitting out a few and playing a few.

Omaha Hi/Lo, I think, is a lot like most poker games; you have to be patient and only bet when you think you can get the most out of the flop.
