Default I have two cards...put me on a hand or a range

Two interesting hands on the importance of reads/hand ranges, both hands from my last 4/180 win.

Hand no 1.

I had notice villain limping mid/weak aces from MP so I was pretty set on him having Ax or a mid pp.

Stack sizes:
UTG: t8520
Hero: t27627
MP1: t4815
MP2: t5185
CO: t10915
Button: t14980
SB: t14691
BB: t44927

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is UTG+1 with TWO CARDS
UTG folds, Hero calls t800 (pot was t1200), 2 folds, CO calls t800 (pot was t2000), 2 folds, 2 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (t3200, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO bets t1600, BB folds, Hero calls t1600 (pot was t4800).

Turn: (t6400, 2 players)
Hero is all-in t25177, CO calls all-in t8465.
Uncalled bets: t16712 returned to Hero.

River: (t23330, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: t23330)

Hand 2.
Villain is using the KillPhil strategy. He pushes a lot preflop, and in the previous hand he lost 77<99 allin pf. He is down to a pretty tiny stack here and i know that KillPhil basically says to push any two here.

ICBM is correct on hand 1. Pocket nines and I push first on the turn representing a draw or a hand that his probable pair of Aces can beat.

I was going to say nines only I didnt due to you limping in.....

can I ask why you choose to limp in this spot.... I would of opened up here with 99 ....

I am playing the nines purely for set value. I have no interest in only stealing the blinds - I am looking to double up.
I will raise only on occasion to not give away my hand.
This is a new approach I have taken with all pocket pairs 99 and below.

-> hint on the second hand. Iwas not going to fold to a raise...

Im a bit more aggressive with the 9's but fair play nines are the pair kind of in no mans land between the high and middle pairs :P

Im going for KK or AA in hand 2 !!!

Yuppers AA hand 2. I was hoping to get raised somewhere before it got to the BB so I could push but apparently the table wasn't all morons.
