Is someone bad/braindead enough to explain this pre-flop call...
FullTilt $1
Blinds 50/100
Papa BB with QQ
Middle position calls
Button raises to 3xBB
These button raises mean absolutely zero to me - these donkeys have been reading a bit and know to always raise on the button...and raising it to 3xbb only gives both me and the initial caller good enough odds to call with 230 even.
I reraise it to 10xBB I do not want A6o callers - but still I have some fold equity if the initial caller (who I judged to be quite good) limped in on me with Aces or an ace flops.
Initial caller flat calls...and the button folds of course...
Anyway . . .we manage to survive the hand...he shows down K7suited . . . after a King on the turn he wins the pot...
WTF is that about
Re: Is someone bad/braindead enough to explain this pre-flop call...
mmmmm odd to say the least I can only presume hes been reading SS II or the like where it big ups suited K's etc but forgot about the part where its very bad to call two raises cold...... :P
or he could be one of those players that thinks because s/he initally called they are not allowed to fold to any action pre flop ....and then cos theres so much money in they cant fold post flop either.....
Re: Is someone bad/braindead enough to explain this pre-flop call...
and BTW - I auto-muck suited kings (unless KQ and AK of course ...) at a full ring table. Drawing to the second nut-flush before you have seen the flop must be extremely -EV...
Re: Is someone bad/braindead enough to explain this pre-flop call...
add Kxs to your list of hands mate just the same as playing suited connectors really in my eyes ....you got to gamble it up to make money buddy its extra nice when that Ace flops too though

Never!!!! I'd rather play low two-gappers or Ace-rag
