This was just a very strange hand I got involved it. The way the hand developed it ended up costing me a lot of money just due to me having to call because of pot odds. This is what happens when you make one bad call.
I was at the casino playing $1/$2 NL. The cards get dealt, one player in mid-early position limps. It folds around to the SB who raises to $8. I'm in the BB and I look down at

. Not a great hand, but I decided to take a flyer on it and see if I could get a flush. So I toss in my $6 and the limper calls as well.
FLOP
Really couldnt ask for much better of a flop. I got a backdoor straight draw, an overcard, and the nut flush draw. The SB fires out $12. I call of course and the limper goes all-in for $22. The SB then tries to go all-in but is then told he can't raise as the limper's all-in was not an official raise because he couldnt double the original bet. So all he can do now is call. Now I pretty much have to call too as I already have $12 out there and it's only going to cost me $10 more for a chance to win this huge pot.
TURN
Good card for me as now my straight draw is coming around. Now the SB goes all-in for his last $18 like I knew he would. So what can I do? I have to call $18 to win like $109 so I have to call AGAIN. So I reluctantly call and the cards get flipped. I'm up against JJ and 10-10. So any ace, 6, or heart will win the hand for me. Of course I brick on the river and the Jacks take it down. Still wish I never would have called pre-flop. lol
