Default QQ overpair fold correct?

Table : Hold'em No Limit ($0.50/$1.00)
I had QQ
Someone raised preflop $2
I reraise $5
Flop : 8 9 J
I bet $5
the other player goes all in ($30)
I fold

Is this a wise fold? Should I have played it another way? I did not know anything about this guy, and that tends to mean he is good, one notice mostly the useless plays.

well I would have re-raised more PF, probably to $12 given his stupid min-raise. A bigger re-raise here would have forced him to make a tough decision for all his money. But I aggree with folding here, a set of 8's or 9's is highly likely here or a possible donk playing Q-10, J-9, J-8, or 9-8 to a re-raise.

I also would have raised more pre-flop. Then when the other guy bet on the flop, I would have gone all in. He probably only had a J with a Ace or King kicker. Worst case, he had pocket 8's or 9's. If that was the case, then nice fold.
