It basically can go in to any program and extract your email address and use it to send you SPAM mail and even sell it to some companies or individuals so that they can send you emails that you don't want. In the telemarketing business, it is called an EmailBlast. That is where a company will get 2500 emails together and sell it to a company or an individual.

Now this can be tapped into with this program and another company can get your email address. They will put it on their list with 2499 others and seel it. Now your address is on another list of 2500 email addresses. How long do you think it will take before 100 or even 1000 telemarketing companies are sending you emails or selling it to over 100 customers or businesses in 1 days time. I work in telemarketing right now. Trust me It happens. We don't do it, but it does happen. Within 1 weeks time, it is said that your email address could be on as many as 10,000 lists.

I know such program and a lot out there even freeware. I even make test quite while. Not only dont post email addy, i dont add on profile also

I do not post my email anywhere. I have had it showing it the past so that other members could get a hold of me, but I am finding that spongers are asking me for passwords. For that reason alone, I do not show my email address to anybody.

This is usefull information. I was wondering why I had many spam in my inbox because I never fill in any forms, but I posted my email a couple times so maybe that is it. thanks

Mark as spam. Then it goes directly to bulk. Then empty to delete all. that simple, but I do agree that is not smart but also not a big threat either.
